Worst hotel ever

I cannot explain the kind of inconvenience I faced at this hotel. I travel on a full time basis and book hotels constantly. This hotel was somehow really bad. 1. I arrived at 9 in the morning. The staff didn't know about my booking. Made calls here and there and only let me enter the room after half n hour. 2. In 15 min, another staff comes and tells me to leave as my check in is from 12. I. Toally okay with checking in at the time I am told but not like this. I could have spent my time at station waited till 12 and then reached hotel in the first place. But no. 3. Every staff is epitome of rudeness. Had to ask for wifi password 4 times after which they gave me the connection. 4. While checking out the staff asked me to pay extra charges for a night because they had written my check out time as 9 AM I am telling you, never book at this hotel. It is a huge scam to make extra money from online booking. Poor and sad experience.

Dirty Rooms, Rude Staff, Never Again

This is a summary, but please read the whole review to get a more accurate image of this establishment. In short, the staff are rude, discourteous and act like you are inconveniencing them ; the rooms were dirty, dusty and the bathroom stank ; the A/C was rattling and to quote an employee, "sometimes fuses." Firstly, they lied to us from the photos online. It is not a detached building with a lawn in front, it is in a row of restaurants, facing a busy & noisy main road a stone's throw away from the railway station. There is NO lawn of any sort at all. Moving inside, the lobby was not terrible except for resident flies that entered & left occasionally. The person at the reception had no idea of our booking & had to make some calls. However, the rooms upstairs were so disappointing it forced us to cancel our booking there and then and go somewhere else. Stinking bathrooms, loose taps, black patches on the mirror & tracks of mud in the corridor greeted us. Then, the A/C stopped working in one room. The hotel employee casually said "Sometimes it fuses, but it comes on now & then." In the other room, it rattled constantly. Finally, the employees were intolerable. Besides the employee who "fixed" the A/C, a rude, discourteous young man refused to give us a third towel (they had provided two for three people) , saying that "they are in the laundry, they'll come later." After arguing, he came back with a towel & soap & tossed it on the bed. The towels looked like they had been in use for years ! This 1-hour ordeal ended once we had left the hotel & the manager refused to give us our deposit - we had paid him RS 500. Further he told us the change was Rs 1500 per room which was higher than the Rs. 1000 that I had booked via the Expedia website. Overall it was a horrible experience

"Restaurant visit"

This hotel, near the railway station, is better known as a restaurant. There is a big hall and an upstair service. It is a pure veg hotel with different thali meals like Andhra, Bengali, North Indian and rice plates. Price hovers between 100 and 200 for a person. No special taste to rave about. Everything is ordinary including the ambience. Service is slow but the server appeared courteous. Strictly a one time visit for lunch or dinner.

We stayed here for several nights while visiting Ajanta and Ellora. We chose here, as it's near the trainstation, but there are many other hotels on this road. The hotel works on a 24 hour check in basis- so if you check in at midday, you have to check out at midday. We arrived early morning due to our train arriving early, and were very disappointed that when we asked if we could pay extra on our last day to stay til late morning, we'd have to pay for another full day! They gave us another half hour, but anymore would be charged at full rate which, fair enough is their terms, but we didn't need another full day. We thought they could charge us a reasonable fee for a few extra hours, but the Owner wouldn't budge- so we left, and sat for hours in the trainstation waiting for our train. Anyway, the rooms... Very garish decorations- the bed had an enormous headrest, with bizarre, swirly patterns! I know it's a question of taste, but I just don't get why hotels like this spend loads of money on horrible, crazy furniture, when simple and elegant would be a lot cheaper and easy on the eye! Regardless of that, the bed sheet had stains and holes in it, and the bathroom was pretty shabby to say the least. We won't be returning here.
